The pink girl is named Anna, and the mermaid is Marina.

The color palette on the first design is during the sad part, whereas the one with the tail is once she is in the water. I haven’t decided on the colors for Marina yet, though I am leaning toward the purple.

We had to make 100 iterations related to our themes. I chose to create fantasy creatures. However, just “create a fantasy creature” was too broad a category, so I gave myself further constraints.

The categories were: cat-like, with wings, dragons, underwater, round, eyes, lots of teeth, horns, and oddly human.
